Intro to Garment Sewing: Fabric & Stitches $25/session
This is the first part of the Intro to Garment Sewing Class. This is a beginner-friendly class that will go over fabric, stitching, and all things garment. The first two classes are standalone, register as your need. Bring a notepad! These classes are rich with great information. All equipment will be provided.

Sewing machine on the fritz? Don’t know how to work it? Bring it in to see if we can help you figure it out. We will work with you to try to get it up and running. NOTE: we are not professional sewing machine repair techs, we will assess your machine, try to get it running, and if we can’t we will advise you to go to a professional. This is not a class, just a short session to help you get acquainted with your machine to see if it works.

Expand on the skills you gained in Beginner Sewing I. You will gain more experience stitching, learn how to hem, use the zig-zag stitch to finish seams, create drawstrings, and go home with your very own pouch. This is the second installation of our Beginner Sewing series.

Bring that pattern you just don’t know how to start to pattern lab! Our mentors will help guide you through starting to sew. Bring your own project, and learn with others as they work on their projects. Meant for intermediate sewists who need help getting started but are comfortable sewing independently.
Summer Shorts -$35
Learn how to make an easy breezy pair of shorts for the summer. Bring a pair of shorts you like the fit of and 1-2 yards of non-stretch fabric. This is a great beginner project! Must know how to use a sewing machine and/or have taken Beginner Sewing I + II.

In this four-session workshop, you'll learn to deconstruct denim garments, create a custom pattern from your own measurements, and reconstruct the fabric into a one-of-a-kind jacket that's uniquely yours. No two jackets will be alike — bring your creativity and your old jeans!
Level: Intermediate

Have an old button-up shirt that is too big for you? Learn how to upcycle it into a babydoll shirt. Great for beginner sewers or those that just want to transform a shirt into something fun and wearable!
Level: Intermediate (sewing machine experience required)
Bring: A large button-up shirt (at least 2 sizes bigger than your shirt size)

Bouquet and Bread Basket - $35

Fabric Vase w/ Rodi - $60
Create sculptural fabric vessels for your home. In this six-hour workshop, you’ll make two pieces: a small practice form and a ginger vase. These soft structures are perfect for shelves, entry tables, sewing rooms, or seasonal displays.
Most iron-friendly cotton fabrics work well. Batiks are easiest. Bold prints shine. This is a great way to use fabrics you might not choose for quilting.

Have some clothes stuck in the back of your closet that need some fixing? Bring them to the clinic to learn how to fix them! This is meant for those with some sewing experience. Class is structured based on what you bring, so whatever you want to learn how to try to fix, bring it!
Workwear Jacket: From Pattern to Piece - $80 (Three-part class)
Learn how to sew a workwear jacket, from pattern to piece. You will purchase a digital $10 jacket pattern, print the pages out, and then we will work through putting the pattern together, cutting your fabric, sewing, and adding finishing touches. This is an intermediate class, you should have some experience using a sewing machine but no clothing sewing experience required.
First class: Piecing pattern and cutting fabric

Third class: Adding buttons, finishing sewing

Draft a Custom Block/Sloper: Part 4 Fit+Design, ADVANCED - $50
YOU MUST BE ADVANCED IN WORKING WITH COMMERCIAL PATTERNS.
Learn how to make a custom block/sloper for your precise measurements with Dalia. This block can be used as a foundation to create and fit other patterns. This class is for intermediate to advanced sewists, not suitable for beginners.
Please note, each class is a stand alone class. You will need register for each date according to your needs .
All tools and materials will be supplied for the class.
Embellishing your Denim Jacket w/ Cathy - $40
In this workshop, you will design and add fabric to embellish your favorite denim jacket. We will start by making a pattern for each piece, including the collar, pockets, cuffs, and backing, then cut and sew everything into place. Basic sewing-machine use knowledge required.
Beginner Crochet Clinic - $25
Come crochet in community! This is a beginner crochet clinic, Ari will help teach whatever the students that day want to learn.

Recycled T-Shirt Scarf - $35
Recycle your beloved yet well-worn t-shirts into a stylish, fashionable scarf! This sustainable fashion project is great for beginners and experienced sewists alike. Full supply list will be sent at time of registration. Students should have some sewing machine experience for this project, but this project is great for beginners since you’ll sew one long straight line to make the scarf.
