Help Keep This Space Open to Everyone Who Walks In
What is Quilting for Community?
Quilting for Community (Q4C) is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization.
Our mission is to build community by teaching free & low-cost quilting and fiber arts classes in a creative, inclusive, and multicultural space.
The Studio offers affordable sewing space, machine rentals, classes, and the Thrift Store sells donated fabric at discount.
We deliver handmade quilts to folk in hospice, shelters and hospitals as a symbol of hope and encouragement.

More than 12,000 guests visit Quilting for Community each year. Many are drawn by the opportunity to make a quilt that will be donated to organizations serving people in hospice and family shelters. Just as important, participants become part of a welcoming learning community that reflects Q4C’s mission.
As a Sponsor, you support our work to build community in a safe, creative space while helping sustain low cost programs and studio materials. Sponsorship also recognizes your business as a local partner for one full year or longer. Your support helps keep our doors open to beginners, artists, and neighbors who want to learn, make, and connect.
