This quilt is based on our Flagship Quilt, and consists of 1 yard of a solid cotton/cotton blend, 10 block-printed 7 inch squares (printed by visitors at the Natural History Museum of LA County and students at Cal State Northridge), and instructions to complete a finished quilt top. The proceeds support the visit of Gee’s Bend Quilters, Mary Ann and China Pettway to Los Angeles County, where they will share stories and songs. Materials in this kit were donated by the community and help keep fabric out of the landfill.
